Problem: Following its acquisition by AB InBev, Cerveza Tijuana needed a compelling relaunch campaign to reintroduce the brand to the market. The challenge was to create a narrative that connected the brand’s origins in Tijuana with the excitement of new beginnings, while also managing the brand’s social media presence.
Solution: We crafted a campaign under the slogan #AquíEmpieza, emphasizing Tijuana as the starting point of Mexico and the birthplace of the first craft beer acquired by AB InBev. The campaign focused on capturing emotional, anticipatory moments that resonate with audiences, such as the excitement before an artist takes the stage or the anticipation of delicious tacos being prepared. This approach highlighted the sense of beginnings, aligning with the brand’s relaunch theme. We also managed Cerveza Tijuana’s social media content on Instagram and Facebook, ensuring consistent and engaging brand communication.
Results: The campaign successfully reintroduced Cerveza Tijuana, creating strong emotional connections with the audience. Our social media strategy boosted engagement and visibility, positioning the brand prominently in the market until the project concluded in 2018 when AB InBev decided to end it.
